Get Training

In addition to the protocols we provide, we also provide hands-on training, which walks you through BLink bead preparation and making sample libraries with those beads (and your sample). By the end of the training, you should be well-versed in making your own BLink beads and using them to make libraries, along with taking your batch of BLink beads home. We can also provide training for bioinformatic data processing, if time allows and there is interest.

Contact us about training

So far, researchers have spent 2-3 weeks as a visiting researcher working with the Genomics Innovation Hub at Cornell University. During that time, the GIH trains you on making and validating your own batch of BLink beads. Afterwards, you use your own beads to get the hang of making some sample libraries. In the future, if there is sufficient interest, we can move towards a formal training structure with dedicated sign-up workshops. If there is enough interest, we may also consider formal instruction in linked-read bioinformatics via Physalia or similar.
